The process of working with 401k Educate is like our tagline: simple and straightforward. After the first contact is made, we work with you to assess your needs, determine how we can assist, and start scheduling things out. After our initial contact is made, we spend time educating ourselves on your needs. This includes understanding your current 401(k) plan, the options your employees have available to them, and assessing the needs of your employee base. During this time, we will also determine if the self-directed brokerage account (SDBA) is active with your plan. If not, we will work with you and your provider to make it available so we can take full advantage of all of your plans options.
Once we have a full understanding of your needs and we determine which services we can provide, we will work with you to set up the times and dates for scheduled workshops and consultations. These in-person workshops are a true investment into your employees. Providing them with financial literacy will help give them stability, shows your commitment to them, and makes a much more engaged workforce.
401k Educate workshops are customized to meet the needs specific to your organization’s 401(k) plan and your employees. Understanding there is no one-size-fits-all work schedule, the workshops are designed to be time efficient but also highly effective. After each workshop, the 401k Educate presenter will then be available for one-on-one consultations. This added bonus gives your employees a more intimate setting where more personal questions can be asked. Additionally, employees can begin to use 401k Educate as a financial advisor to help with their 401(k) investment management.
With a more engaged and educated workforce, employees now have the opportunity to take more control of their 401(k)’s financial health. Whether it is on their own accord or aided by a 401k Educate financial advisor, employees will be more in-tune to the changes in their 401(k)’s and will be able to watch them grow over time.
